Connecticut minefield

Is Joe Lieberman about to become the biggest political casualty of the war so far? All the signs are that he is. Mild-mannered Ned Lamont is the perfect candidate to steal all that Joe-mentum away, and deprive the basically conservative jnr Senator of his seat, after 18 years of Washington schmoozing. Before it's even close to Primary day, Ned already owes the DfA/MoveOn-types a big favour for their support, and also their dollars. The liberal blogosphere is still angry at the failed Dean candidacy and they see in Lamont a similar politician who is more malleable I suspect. He's no screamer either.
